User Experience + Prototyping

I love imagining and desiging ways to interact with people and my environment. I read voraciously, ask good questions, and take (inner and outer) observation seriously. Recently, I listened to a former Stanford University childcare aide sharing anecdotes. She shared the story of an autistic child, who becoming fascinated with insects, placed a bee in his mouth and got stung. Whoa!

From one standpoint, a person might be shocked at the event. But, look at the level of interaction and more, the child's desire to experience his world.

I can sympathize with the child's experience, but I seek to know what he wants. Possibly, he (the user) wants to communicate an idea or make a better connection or a friend. This story exemplifies my curious passion for creating and discovering new ways to build a shared experience.
