Content Management Systems

The open source community exploded with content platforms and designers + developers answered the clarion call. While these systems hope to decrease production time, an increasing desire for template customization and simplified UIs tend to increase time and development. Simple is hard. Simple is not magic.

However I look at it-- there is a lot of work that goes into making things simple. In the following examples, I have built templates from scratch or greatly customized the UI, while keeping in mind-- a great design should be minimal, elegant, and useful.
